On February 11,  2011, CFN received $1998.00 from BC Naturalists' Foundation and BC Nature to purchase native plants and host two public plantings at Camp River Wildlife area. The first one was April 16th, 2011. 200 native trees and shrubs were planted.  another planting will take place in the fall of 2011.

We were unsuccessful in our quest for a Habitat Trust Conservation Fund  grant to purchase of a tractor for vegetation management to maintain the rich biodiversity of the site.  The Nature Trust of BC and the BC Ministry of Environment supported this application with inkind  monies.
